Keeping the lines of communication open between home and school is extremely important at Lincoln Elementary School. We encourage all parents to take an active role in their child’s education by getting involved in classroom activities and working hand-in-hand with teachers.
There are many ways parents can stay involved with their child’s education. Whether it’s volunteering in the classroom on a regular basis or signing up to help out with a special project once in awhile, your child will have a more successful educational experience if you’re actively engaged. And if you can’t make it into the classroom because of work or family commitments, don’t worry! There are many ways you can stay involved from home, including offering homework help and exchanging occasional emails with your child’s teacher. Just asking your child, “What did you do in school today?” is a great way to begin!
We invite parents to consider joining our school’s parent teacher organization and or/attending regular PTO meetings. Visit this page often to learn about all our latest projects, and contact our office to find out how you can get involved.
The Lincoln Elementary PTO meets on the last Thursday of every month at 5:00 p.m. in the Parent Room. Please join us!
